Toscana Strings is a string quintet comprising of two violins, viola, cello and double bass.
 
Founded in 2002 with all members studying at Birmingham Conservatoire, Toscana Strings have become one of the countries leading string ensembles, playing for weddings, events, corporate functions, accompanying choral groups and performing their award-winning educational concerts with ballerina; Stories Set To Music.
 
Toscana Strings have vast experience playing at weddings, having played for well over 400 in many venues across the UK. They have a huge array of music in their repertoire ranging from classical, popular, film and jazz. And with the addition of the double bass (compared to the traditional string quartet), it enables Toscana Strings to play this wide spectrum of music with a richer and fuller sound.
